Lyman Koike 1962 University of Hawaii Rainbows Baseball
Old Queen Street Stadium and Ebbets Field Flannels present Lyman Koike and the 1962 University of Hawaii Baseball team.
The team at OQSS first met Lyman at the 2024 University of Hawaii Baseball Alumni game. At 83 years old, Lyman shared his passion for helping children, donating blood, exercise and softball. In commemoration of Lyman's service to the school and community, OQSS and Ebbets Field Flannels will be releasing these faithful recreations of Lyman's 1962 jersey.
History: Prior to playing other colleges, the University of Hawaii Baseball team played in the Hawaii Major League, which included military and civilian teams.
